In his account in “Facebook”, Maliqi wrote that unlocking the stalemate should be done with a consensual candidate.
“LVV has the right to proposal, while all MPs have the right to accept and reject the proposal. With reason or without reason is rejection, most do not accept it. In advanced democracies this refusal is not considered something tragic, consultation is held to find solutions -- another candidate who is acceptable or most. This does not mean denial of the right for the winner to propose the candidate, again the proposal comes from the winner, but now with the reconciliation of a portion of the other side that provides the majority”, Maliqi has written.
