The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo has declared a conviction regarding the demands of Kosovo's Parliamentary deputies, praising that some provisions of the No.08/L-289 Law to the Independent Media Commission are contrary to the Constitution.
In this regard, the response has come from the Democratic League of Kosovo. From the LDK they say Vetevendosje attempted political control.
” The LDK expresses its concern over the repeated trends of Vetevendosje Movement to exercise political influence and control over independent institutions, as in this case over KPM, with the aim of strengthening control over audiovisual media. These actions constitute violations of the fundamental principles of democracy and freedom of expression, jeopardising the functioning of what is known as the fourth “ <x1-x2> state”, said in response./Periscopi/
