The Democratic Party of Kosovo has described as very good the news that the Constitutional Court has declared the Law for Independent Media Commission anti-unconstitutional.
The PDK in response said the Constitution confirmed once again that the outgoing power violated the Constitution.
The decision to declare the Law No. 08/L-289 for the Independent Media Commission as anti-unconstitutional is clear evidence that past governance has used the parliamentary majority to capture independent institutions, contrary to constitutional and democratic principles”.
This is not the first case that the Constitutional Court overturns a law of this government in flight. With this anti-unconstitutional approach, they have run and they're leaving”, it says in response.
On the other hand, The PDK said it welcomes this decision and reaffirms their pledge to guarantee freedom of media, institutional independence and rule of law.
The capture time is running out. Kosovo could best”, it says in response.
