Northern Macedonia soldiers of the NATO-led KFOR Regional Command have conducted patrols in the Pec municipality.
KFOR through a Facebook post has written that patrol is one of KFOR soldiers' main activities.
According to them, this patrol is an ongoing effort that follows the principles of transparency and impartiality, helping maintain stability and security in the area, in full accordance with the mission's objective.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responseors”, KFOR has written on Facebook.
