Ismaili: Chairman belongs to winning party, Hamza could form government

Ismaili has indicated that the position of Kosovo Parliament Speaker belongs to the first party, meaning that it belongs to the Vetevendosje Movement, Periscopi reports.
“TTE takes all necessary steps to get the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament, to have the start of establishing the country's institutions. With the 15th, we all have to make the contribution to start negotiating the Parliament and then start other steps which are legal, constitutional procedures so the country can have governments. I believe that the Parliament and the Mayor are always elective and that I see no obstacle. I think it's up to the first party to create the conditions for the president's vote as well. So let's expect that day”, he said, reports Periscope.
Ismaili before the journalists has also indicated the PDK's position on red lines, believing that PDK candidate for prime minister Bedri Hamza could create Kosovo government if he fails to make the winning party.
Our “program and our campaign has been educational and open to all. So the idea of red lines doesn't always mean in the sense of coalitions, it means in the sense of a discussion that could happen to something certain, but it doesn't necessarily bring red lines for coalition or something. It wasn't that logical. Therefore, as opposition, we have said, as far as forming the government, it is up to the party, which has emerged first, to create, to have the capacity, co-operation, communication, to create the government. If it fails to arrive, it is an institutional obligation of the second party to have access to co-operation with other parties”, he said.
Ismaili is convinced that the coalition with opposition parties could form their candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza.
“I am convinced that if there is an inability of the first party to realise the government, I have a conviction that Mr. Hamza is a very capable person to build a coalition that focuses on what he promised: economic development, improving the welfare of citizens, and I think there's a person who's accepted by a sufficient majority in the Assembly when it happens. But, as it were, let's not go forward until we get to that position”.
Journalists have asked Ismaili whether he will have fished MPs from the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV).
Of course there's unity. We are legislatures who are quite united and eager to represent the Democratic Party of Kosovo(PDK). I believe we will have an extraordinary representation. It doesn't come in terms of being reduced as a group. But would I grow up as a group not known”, Ismaili said. /Perixopi/
