Proposed to head of the Parliament by Vetevendosje, Albulen Haxhiu, did not get the necessary votes either Wednesday.
This situation has disturbed not only citizens in the country but also foreign embassies.
The ambassador of Great Britain to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargrees, has declared that Kosovo urgently needs a functional Assembly and government.
“more than two months after the people of Kosovo voted in the elections, Kosovo urgently needs a functional Assembly and government. The people have the right to expect their political leaders to work together in national interest”, the British diplomat told Klan.
It has already been more than two months since citizens gave up their confidence in the February 9th elections.
However, the country has neither a constitutional framework nor a government.
Tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., the continuing session will be held.
It remains to be seen whether on April 25th we will officially have the Parliament functional.
Officially, Albulen Haxhiu remains a candidate for legislative chairmanship.
And opposition parties in recent statements do not seem to have changed their attitude towards it, declaring themselves against it.
