Erdogan: Defending Palestine is protecting mankind, justice and peace

Erdogan has once again stressed Turkey's firm support for the Palestinian people.

The protection of the Palestinian issue is not just standing with a oppressed people. It is about protecting humanity, peace and justice”, Erdogan said, reports TRT, broadcast Periscope.

Since October 7th 2023, over 51,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

And these attacks, Erdogan described as a “a fury of violence”, accusing the Israeli government of indiscriminately killing civilians, including children, women, elderly and even babies.

Meanwhile, the Turkish president also criticised Western powers for what he called hypocritical inaction. /Periscope/
