The blast occurred at Shahid Rajaee, the country's largest trading port near the southern town of Bandar Abbas on Saturday morning.
This attack destroyed windows and roofs of nearby buildings and destroyed cars. Residents reported feeling the impact of the explosion up to 30 miles [50 km] away, writes BBC, broadcast Periscope.
Port Shahid Rajaee is Iran's largest and most advanced terminal, through which most of the country's commercial shipping passes.
Iran's national oil production company said the explosion at port “had no connection to” with oil refinerys, fuel tanks and domestic pipelines, local media/Periscope/
