Day of mourning will be announced in Croatia on Saturday due to Pope Francis' death.
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic himself has made the announcement, Croatia's prime minister, notes Periscope.
He said that on the day of Papa Francis' farewell, a mourning day will be proclaimed.
Plenkovic is one of the last officials to have seen the late pope.
He visited Rome with his family and met the Pope after Mass. He says he was already in poor health.
That meeting took place at the start of the Vatican protocol. We were there in private, and we didn't want to burden it. We gladly accepted the invitation. I'm saying this because of terrible comments on social networks, which in Croatia are taking enormous size”, Plenkovic said, broadcast Index.hr.
