Court: We don't intend to call witnesses and hand over documents

The trial chamber in the court case against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi, announced they would not hand in documents or call witnesses in this case.

I want to confirm once again that at this point we don't intend to call witnesses or deliver documents from us, so from the court. This may change, but at the moment we don't intend to do this”, Smith said.

The judge said that when the defence opens its case, no opening statements will be made, and he commended the parties for their co-operation.
