After trying to arrest, Dodik reacts: Bosnia is not where we feel safe

We remember that today members of the State Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA) have attempted to arrest Republika Srpska entity President Milorad Dodik, but that has hampered members of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Sinisa Karan, current RS police minister, was promoted and commented on the evening event, writes Clix.ba.

“Peace is RS's greatest value. RS is under constant attack for 30 years, through senior representatives, and now they want to attack it through regular law enforcement agencies. Through them they are trying to give the final blow to RS. The recent event and Christian Schmidt's intervention is a fatal blow to this kind of Bosnia and Herzegovina. RS has the responsibility to defend and protect its order. I will remember that the RS Assembly has adopted a set of laws to prevent the activities of Schmidt, Court and SIPA. I repeat, what happened is a simple provocation, nothing more. This is a political and constitutional crisis”, he said.

Karan also added that the “s that have entered RS territory tonight have violated RS laws”.

Dodik also addressed the media and stressed that “had no intention of leaving the facility under pressure”.

“They do not operate on behalf of RS, are not its representatives. They represent a Muslim jawbone from Sarajevo and the suburbs. The fundamental question is: Which territory will remain the power. BiH is not a place where we feel secure. We're here because of big investments in East Sarajevo, and that's where it looks”, Dodik said.

He stressed that he is proud of the “these guys who are here”, calling them patriots in defense of RS.

We remember that, apart from Dodik, arrest warrants have been issued for RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskoviq, as well as for RS People's Assembly Chairman Nenad Stevsa, who testifies to the depth of the judicial and political crisis in this entity.
