He also hinted he was ready to sign an mineral agreement with the US, which was suspended after his tense meeting with Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Friday.
Voldymyr Zelensky spoke to reporters last night after talks with other world leaders at a summit in London organised by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who suggested a coalition of European allies could strengthen Ukraine's defence and ensure peace.
Asked by Sky News for previous comments that he could resign if his country becomes a NATO member, he replied: “I can leave for NATO”.
