Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been declared after reaching an agreement where Kiev accepts a 30-day ceasefire.
Zelensky has thanked Donald Trump for “the construction of the conversation of the US and Ukraine teams” today in Jeddah.
In an Internet video, Zelensky reiterates that Ukrainian stance is to accept today's US proposal for a full ceasefire.
He says those “consider it positive” and the US “should persuade Russia” to reconcile.
An important part of the conversation today was the US agreement to resume the exchange of intelligence with Ukraine, Zelensky says.
“Ukrainian is ready for peace”, he stated, reports BBC, broadcast Periscope.
He adds: “Russia must show its readiness to stop the war or continue the war. It's time for complete truth. I thank all those who are helping Ukraine”.
