The White House removes Ukraine's aid, now talks only for peace

SAdministration Trump press chief Caroline Leavet said the US would no longer provide military assistance to Ukraine.

She said that the priority for Americans now is negotiations for peace in Ukraine.

This decision came after controversy during Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky's visit to the White House.

“We will no longer continue to write blank Czechs for a war in a very distant country without a real and lasting peace”, Leavitt said.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that the Trump administration has not ruled out the possibility of halting ongoing military aid shipments to Ukraine, estimated in billions of dollars.

Otherwise, the U.S. and Ukraine have not reached common language about rare Ukrainian minerals, which they insist on by the Trump administration.
