Trump's men met Zelensky after the crash at the Oval Office, discovered what they said shortly before he left.

National Security Adviser Michael Waltz, has been detailing the background after yesterday's tense meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian Volodyr Zelensky.

Waltz, has shown it is he and others have advised President Trump that after meeting Zelensky, they have not seen a way to move forward.

Waltz has said they've been thinking that any other conversation after that meeting would only go back.

We had an appointment after that exchange, after the press was asked to leave. And we gave the president counsel, practically unanimously, to the president, that after that insult in the Oval Office, we just don't see how any commitment could move forward, that any further commitment would only go back from now on.
