Sweden donates large aid package to Ukraine

Swedish Defence Minister Paul Jonson told reporters that Sweden wanted “to send the message now that we are intensifying our support and increasing its power and extension”, follows Periscope.
“has good reason to do so in light of the seriousness of the situation in Ukraine,” added Jonson.
Most of the aid package, 9 billion corons, would go for the purchase of new materials produced, “primarily from the Swedish but European industrial base of defence”.
Materials would be selected by being tried by the Ukrainian “nevoves”, the government said.
The last package is the 19th tranche of military aid Sweden has given to Ukraine, with the total estimated 80 billion corona, according to the government.
