The closely-advanced Supreme Court on Wednesday has ordered the Trump administration to comply with a federal court's decision to unblock payments for foreign aid.
“ABC News” reports that the Trump administration must pay nearly $2 billion for nonprofit organisations for the jobs it has done so far.
The Supremee decided 5:4 in favour of unlocking payments for foreign aid.
The US State Department, on 24 January, ordered the freeze of new funding for almost all US international aid programmes as part of President Donald Trump's effort to adapt these programmes to his foreign policy goals.
These programs are implemented mainly through the American Agency for International Development, USAID.
U n US has invested more than $1 billion in Kosovo's development since 1999.
