After a long session of over 7 hours, the Special Court Appeal has postponed the verdict yesterday for Mayor Erion Veliaj.
The decision, which is expected to be made at 12:30 today, was postponed after defence lawyers will be introduced to new evidence brought by SPAK prosecutors.
These evidence is expected to burden the position of Mayor Veliaj, who has not spoken Tuesday's session, but is expected to be present today and speak at the session.
Veliaj's defence lawyers, Ermir Beta and Arthur Selmani have sought softer security measures for Veliaj against property guarantees, with the argument that there is no danger of undermining the evidence.
