Kosovo's Special Prosecutor in February 2025 has filed charges against Bedri Shaban and Muharrem Distraction for Prosecution Work.
Muharrem Qerim's Bedri Shaban allegedly gave information to the Serbian Secret Service (BIA), on the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK), the massacres in Kosovo, the Kosovar Intelligence Agency, the Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Police Inspectorate.
Also allegedly, Bedri Shaban and Muharrem Qerim have held physical meetings in Serbia with a senior BIA official and a former Serbian Police Commander and leader of the military police operation in one of the massacres that had been carried out in Kosovo during the war.
They are accused of transmitting this information through telephones and emails.
Suspects are charged with criminal acts of spying, while Muharrem also commits criminal acts with illegal possession.
