Sikorski made that announcement by talking to journalists alongside his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Syhbiza, in Warsaw, after the latter returned from talks in Jedah on Wednesday.
” can confirm that sending weapons through Jasionkas has returned to the previous level of”, Sikorski said, referring to the logistics centre in southeast Poland.
Washington had announced last week that it was suspending Ukraine's supply with aid, following a public clash at the White House between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart, Voldymyr Zelensky.
The clash had caused major concerns in Ukraine, which were witnessed by interviews at Time Current with soldiers on the front line.
“Give us more weapons and we'll guarantee our security”, said a soldier identified as Sokol, who serves at the artillery unit in the Donjeck region east of Ukraine.
I think things will be clarified soon and we will continue to get weapons and other aid”, he said.
Sokoli was right after sending aid back after a nine-hour meeting in which Ukraine and the United States approved a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire.
Washington has already presented this to Moscow.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that “n will tell them that this is what we offer”.
The US is the largest weapons supplier for Ukraine, and Sokooli's comments underscored the importance of restarting Ukraine's supply with weapons for its fight against Russian invaders.
“We use many weapons produced in the United States and Europe”, he said.
Another soldier from this unit, identified as Odin, said: “We are doing everything we can to keep [Russian forces] out of the Dnepropetrovsk region. We're causing them great losses to minimize their movements on our land”.
Speaking in Warsaw, the EU reiterated his country's commitment to the 30-day ceasefire.
“We are ready to create the right team on our part that will work on this action plan on how to achieve this ceasefire, if it happens”, he said.
Russian officials have not yet responded to proposals from the meeting in Jedah.
Speaking on March 12th, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “We have planned contacts with Americans in the coming days, during which we expect to receive full information”.
