Some of the ballots that have arrived from voters abroad result in failure, as they belong to past elections.
Images and photos of these ballots have been distributed on social networks, raising concerns about the voting process from the diaspora and managing it by responsible institutions.
It is not yet known whether it is a technical error, a problem with the distribution of election materials, or a misunderstanding by voters themselves.
In the last 2021 parliamentary elections, over 56 thousand diaspora votes played an important role in determining results and forming the government.
This year, a large number of them seem to risk not being included in the final count due to the inadequacy of submitted ballots.
The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has not yet come up with a clear statement on this situation, but it is expected that relevant institutions will examine the case and provide clarifications for the reasons for the problem.
