Recount of 50 Locations Begin

Recounting of ballots from 50 regular seats from the February 9th parliamentary elections has begun, the Central Election Commission has announced.
According to the CEC, the recount is taking place due to differences in the number of signatures on the Voters' List and the number of ballotings inside boxes in the location.
The CEC has made a decision to recount 15 locations from different Kosovo municipalities, as well as full recount of ballots for political subjects and candidates for 35 seats. According to the Central Election Commission, there are inconsistencies in the results, and these locations belong to the municipality of Vushtrri.
The recount process is under way in the presence of accredited” observers, the CEC report said.
On Sunday (March 9th) it has been a month since holding parliamentary elections.
