Peci: Hamza and Abdixhik's mistake was that they behaved more as economy ministers than as candidates for prime minister

Former Kosovo diplomat Lulzim Peci, currently director of the Kosovar Institute for Research and Development of Politics (KIPRED), in an interview for Periscope has blamed leaders of the two largest opposition parties, Bedri Hamza and Lumir Abdzik for the way the election campaign is made. According to Peci, like Hamza and Obadiah, more has been brought [...]
According to Peci, like Hamza and Abdixhiku were brought more as economy ministers, not as candidates for prime ministers.
“Z. Hamza and Mr. Hamza. Abdixhiku, have had an extraordinary focus only on economic issues, while realising at least that for me, gave an impression that they are speaking much more as economy ministers, rather than as candidates for prime minister, in view of the problems Kosovo is facing. ”
These problems are larger in the internal aspect. We are dealing with the integration of the north, then with implementation of Brussels agreements and the consolidation of Kosovo's citizenship. We have to accept a fact that Kosovo from a considerable part of the international community is still considered a contentious state, and we cannot do this without regeneration of the reports with partners and with what we wish to call allies. Because if we want to be part of the international community, they take us in, not us who can go ourselves. We're a small country, without any major influence. Here was my key warning to opposition leaders”.
I think this campaign, which took place only in the economic sphere, practically abstracting the big political problems we have and not wanting to get into this area, didn't even give the right result”, Peci said of Periscope.
All in the end, Peci stresses that the opposition has a rise, but not what it expected in view of Kurt's government in the past 4-5 years. /Periscope.
