Osmani said NATO's presence is necessary in preserving peace in the region.
Osmani cited attacks by Serbia, which he said was not yet required responsibility for this state.
Serbia unfortunately continues to undermine efforts for peace and stability and through the hybrid and criminal actions and continued propaganda supported by Russia and other malicious factors, Belgrade is aiming to destabilise not only Kosovo but the entire region.
The attacks of recent years in northern Kosovo, as well as attacks on NATO troops in May 2023 organised and supported by Serbia's state structures are clear evidence of this danger. Therefore, NATO's presence in Kosovo is not only a guarantee of our security, but it is a barrier against any attempts at violating peace and stability for which we have all worked together and precisely worked for. We join the repeated calls of both NATO and the EU for responsibility in the attack on KFOR soldiers. As I have stressed in my recent NATO visit, the lack of responsibility for the authors has only encouraged Serbia to proceed with attacks through its paramilitary structures”, Osmani said./Periscopi/
