Chairman PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has visited former president Hashim Thaci in The Hague today.
Through a Facebook post, Krasniqi says Thaci was calm and steadfast, adding that the former president knows the truth cannot be imprisoned forever.
On the contrary, Krasniqi said Thaci had no complaints, no signs of grief, adding that Thaci is being denied the right to see his ailing father.
“Today, another visit to The Hague in a country that for Hashim Thaci and our rescuers is a new battle. A front where freedom now and five years is being defended differently with resistance and dignity. President Thaci, as always, calm and steadfast. I know the truth cannot be imprisoned forever. With the same energy and optimism, he spoke of Kosovo, our road and the construction of a better future which always requires sacrifice and unstoppable commitment”, Krasniqi wrote.
No complaints, no signs of grief, even though unjustly denied the right to see his sick father. Only a firm belief that justice, however late, will prevail. And when the night passes the shadow of injustice collapses with the light of truth and freedom the sun will rise again!
