Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said in an interview with Russian media that Moscow will never accept the deployment of foreign troops to Ukrainian territories, writes A2 CNN, broadcast Periscope. Lavrov added that Moscow would avoid any compromise that would affect Russian citizens in territories within Ukraine, but already located under Russian military control.
“Europe and Great Britain certainly want (wars in Ukraine) to continue. The way they hosted Zelenskiy in London after the Washington scandal is an indication that they want to increase the stake and they are preparing something to pressure Donald Trump's administration for an aggressive act against Russia. I am mostly surprised with this obsession of peacekeepers. President Macron says, let's stop”, Lavrov said.
The peacekeepers will be deployed within a month, then we will see what to do next. The presence of troops from NATO countries under every flag, on Ukrainian soil is the same threat (as NATO enlargement. We don't accept it at any cost. Nobody's talking to us. They continue to say nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine, but do everything for Russia without Russia. The second thing is the rights and fate of people living not only in liberated territories but in territories under regime control. They also, most of them speak Russian. They have behaved as part of Russian culture and want their children to know Russian and learn Russian”.
