The White House leader had announced 25% tariffs against Canada and Mexico, while China's move seems to have expanded further.
But it seems that this has brought a counter-re response from these states that warn “mutually offensive” against this decision.
Canadian authorities also suggest that they will set the 25% rate for American goods worth $150 billion, while Mexico and China have pledged to do the same.
The Beijing Finance Ministry has announced 15% tariffs for several US agricultural imports, including chicken, wheat, corn and cotton.
It has set 10% tariffs for other products such as soybeans, pork, beef, fruit, vegetables and milk products, which take effect on March 10th.
China's Trade Ministry has also added 10 American firms to the so-called “list of unreliable subjects” and 15 American entities to the export control list, which will take effect from today. (A2 Television)
