The chief of the EU Office in Kosovo, Avio Orav, has talked today about Union's expectations for Kosovo's new government.
Orav, during the presentation of the 2024 European Reforms Barometer, has said that immediately after the government's formation, Kosovo must engage constructively in EU facilitated dialohen.
“In my speech today, I shared my expectations for Kosovo's future government: to engage constructively in EU facilitated dialogue; to lead Kosovo on the path of crucial reforms”.
He said that from the entry into force of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, Kosovo has made no progress on the integration path.
“The Barometer of European Reforms, supported by the Netherlands Embassy in Kosovo and implemented by GLPS and the Epic Institute, is a valuable tool in the enlargement process: it praises the performance of the government and ministry in EU reforms and helps improve the accountability of public institutions”, he said.
