So far, hundreds of thousands of Kosovo citizens have been automatically and wrongly registered in various German municipalities as citizens of Serbia, an issue that has caused concerns and uncertainty for many years.
I have the special satisfaction of announcing that, as a result of our political work and engagement, this unresolved and inherited problem will end for years. From now on, Kosovo citizens in Germany will no longer register as citizens of Serbia.”, Faruk Ajeti, Kosovo's ambassador to Germany, has said.
