The cherry blossom season is starting to explode in Washington, D.C. As cherry trees are just one step away from their bloom.
National Park Service on Sunday reported that the capital's famous cherry trees have reached <x0phasis 5 ) Puffy White<x1 with flowers starting to appear.

When is the peak of bloom?
National Park Service (NPS) had earlier announced the cherry blooming peak season at the Tidal Basen of the Columbia District that will drop between 28-31 March of this year, reports U n SA Today, broadcast Periscope.
The peak date “is defined as a period when 70% of the Yoshino Garden flowers are open”, according to park service. About 3,800 cherry trees grow around Batica Basin and National Mall.
Dates are a prediction, added NPS, because the peak of bloom depends on weather conditions.

Where are the best cherry blossoms?

The tourism department in Washington also recommends points off the radar as National Arboretum, Anacostia Park, Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown, Stanton Park and Oxon Run Park.
