Denmark's Foreign Minister, Lars Rasmussen, has said he agrees in principle for Denmark to send peacekeeping troops to Ukraine.
The Guardian has reported on Monday that he indicated it is important that Europe send clear signals to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the United States of America.
He has added that he agrees to send troops to Ukraine, if the circumstances needed for a ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine arise.
Denmark will participate in the meeting of military chiefs of staff from many European countries, invited by France's president, Emmanuel Macron, on Tuesday.
