Thus, lawyer Nina Tawakoli has withdrawn from the former president's defence in this case, but not for any reason involving payments or other sensitive issues.
The reason for making this decision is the fact that the same lawyer also represents Thaci in the case where he is accused of war crimes in special, so her resignation on this case has been “the insufficientness of the time” to deal with two cases.
The same will be replaced by Sophie Menegon.
