United Kingdom Foreign Secretary David Lami has condemned mass killings in Syria.
In an X post, he says reports that “a large number of civilians have been killed in coastal areas in Syria in continued violence are horrible”, adding that authorities in Damascus should protect all Syrians and “determine a clear path to transitional justice”.
Earlier, the European Union issued a statement condemning the attacks of pro-Asad” on temporary government forces.
“The EU also calls on all foreign actors to fully respect Syria's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity”, the statement adds.
France has also condemned violence targeting <x0civils because of their” faith, as well as prisoners.
France called for independent investigations into recent killings with its foreign ministry, which wrote in a statement that Syria's provisional government should ensure “the preservation of Syria's ethnic and religious pluralism”, the BBC reported.
