Former Ambassador Avni Arifi said about The PDK and the LDK going into the opposition would be a competition that would be consolidated and that one of them would win the next election. Arifi has written that it would be a political victory for the opposition to see how VV leader Albin Kurti will fail, especially with local elections to be held in the north in October of this year.
However, Arifi says neither the PDK nor the LDK have the luxury of looking into and waiting for Prime Minister Albin Kurti to reverse the state of Kosovo. Arifi writes that such a thing would not be forgiven by history.

For both the PDK and the LDK, going into opposition would be a competition that one of them would win the elections in the upcoming elections. None of them need necessary power, and with their numbers, they meet all the parameters to continue consolidation.
It would be a full political victory for the opposition to see the fraud tower of Albin Kurti and LV, especially when local elections are held in October, and Serbs in northern municipalities return to the leading positions of these municipalities. It would be really interesting to see how Kurti, with his “ ”, would face the US of Trump and an EU focusing on the requirements that Kosovo fulfils its obligations whether they were taken during Thaci's time or during Kurti's.
Unfortunately, neither the PDK nor the LDK have this luxury to watch and wait for Albin Kurti to reverse the state of Kosovo. History would not forgive them.
