Kurteshi's Declaration, AGK, has described it as unacceptable and dangerous.
Such an accusation, unremarked to a media by a senior ruling party official, not only violates press freedom, but also jeopardises journalists' safety, it says in response.
The AGK has also called on the Vetevendosje Movement to urgently ensure that Kurteshi does not prevent the work of journalists and refrain from insulting and threatening language against the media.

AGK condemns scandalous, threatening and stimulating language of CEC member Sami Kurteshi
Kosovo Journalists' association (AGK) strongly condemns the repeated insults and threats of Central Election Commission member (KQZ), Sami Kurteshi, against the media, including a scandalous statement made this Wednesday.
During a question addressed to him by Nacional newspaper journalist Beserta Hoti, Kurteshi has answered in words: “You are the criminal media, of the paid killers. ”
The AGK considers this statement irresponsible, unacceptable and dangerous. Such an unprecedented indictment against a media woman by a senior ruling party official not only undermines press freedom but also jeopardises journalists' safety.
Moreover, Kurteshi has also used sexist language, telling journalist “ta ate his pussy”, an inappropriate and inappropriate expression for any institutional communication.
The AGK calls on the Vetevendosje Movement urgently to ensure that its representative to the CEC does not impede the work of journalists and refrain from insulting and threatening language against the media. Verbal attacks on journalists are unacceptable and seriously violate media freedom in Kosovo.
