Zogaj requires implementation of the audio and video system by courts: We're dating in the face of international partners.

Chief Albert Zogaj said he is reluctant to use audio and video systems for court processes. This, according to him, is leading to a non-seriosis to internationals.

That statement, he did at the 342nd meeting of the KRC on Tuesday, during the report by the Director of the KDR Secretariat, Shrezen Maliqi, reports “Justice bet“.
Zogaj said that in the judicial system it is continuing to dominate the performance of affairs urgently and that this culture should leave the judicial system seeking planning activities that guarantee quality of processes.
The chairman also mentioned security cases in the courts, offering Council support for addressing problems that could have the court's security share.
Meanwhile, regarding the quality of the data, Zogaj said that from now on it will no longer be a topic on the Council, and that such a matter is delivered to the Secretariat because it has the structure needed for handling issues and putting staff accountable in case of error in quality of data.
Likewise, Zogaj demanded that the Secretariat begin preparing for the Administrative Court and fulfilling all recommendations stemming from the Interior and Foreign Auditor.
Meanwhile, director Maliqi said that the Secretariat's part has not lacked and will not lack the will to address issues and fulfill obligations.
Regarding the secretariat's affairs, Council member Willard Bytyqi also spoke, who said that the mention of the same problems being conveyed to the Council year after year should be eliminated.
Meanwhile, the other member, Artan Abazi, sought to know whether all of the secretariat's goals were met and whether there were obstacles during the realisation of the targets. In that case, Maliqi said there are no obstacles and that the targets have been overcome.
On the other hand, the meeting continued with the report by the Judiciary Inspectation Unit taskman Dul Gjocaj, who said how the Units need support staff and are engaged in different topics for inspection.
Regarding the work of the Unit, Bytyqi said the unit must leave some technical roles and should be brought into the core of the issue they have for treatment under legislation.
Meanwhile, the Council's other member, Fahreet Vellija, said they should work to have a database on different issues, such as family issues, for corruption, seeking to facilitate the filtering of data when they are needed.
Also presented was implementation of KRC's 2024 Work Plan activities by the director of the legal office, Astrit Hoti, and the Commission was established to assess performance of the task officer of the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica, Bekim Veliqi.
The commission will have this composition: The Ibrahima-head Teuta, Ahmet Imam and Artan Abazi-members, as well as Willard Bytyqi and Besnik Bislimaj- reserve members.
In the end, the Council made the change of the KDR decision.r.29/2025 on January 24th 2025, concerning the composition of the assessment Commission for the “Judiciary Monitor competition in the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court of Kosovo”, placing the Commission's member Arjeta Sadick.
Meanwhile, he withdrew from the agenda to review the report on the announced positions for tribunal managers, as well as closed doors, the meeting followed for the establishment of an investigative panel for a disciplinary case.
