24 hours after the rough language with which Zelensky and Trump led you through social networks each other, an ultimatum for Kiev's leader has come from the US.
It was White House National Security adviser Mike Waltz, who called on Ukraine to give up its criticism of the US, which is trying to reach a mutually acceptable agreement to end the war.
“They should lower the tones and look at it and sign this” agreement, Waltz told Fox News, referring to a critical deal passing Ukraine's minerals to Washington.
The resistance from Ukraine to agreement and criticism for the way Trump is conducting peace talks is simply unacceptable”, Waltz stressed, underlining that everything the United States has done for Ukraine should be taken into account.
At the same time, Waltz believes both sides can resolve their differences and agree, as Trump “said also how much he loves Ukrainian people”.
Among other things, Waltz denied that US and Ukrainian allies were not consulting.
There's a term for this in diplomacy. It is called ship diplomacy, because bringing everyone to the table has not worked in the past”, he said in comments reported by Reuters. (A2 Television)
