Mayor Erion Veliaj has reacted from the cell over his arrest three days ago at the order of the SPAK.
Through a social networking post, Veliaj has posted a document claiming to be part of the SPAK file, in which the mayor is said to have been previously convicted, the claim he does not hold.
As he attacks the prosecutor of the case, Olsi Dadon, Veliaj says he passed this case as a mere pencil, writes A2 CNN.
He also writes that the buttoned file against him has many errors, which the mayor claims will reveal one by one in the coming days.
Veliaj's reaction:
A Cure of Undeterred One
I can't stop talking about a serious scandal that I discovered yesterday in the courtroom, written black on white, that on the front page of the uncavíra eagerly drafted by prosecutor Ols Dado.
I was informed that in all of the DP media Bays, we were published that in my file the prosecutor had written: “Erion Veliaj is “convicted”, with footnote “according to the Electronic certificate of court state No. 5488 Prot, the date 23.01.2025 generated by the investigation of the National Bureau of Investigation, which is located in the 63”. ”
When I learned it, this detail shocked me personally, just as it may have shocked not a few other people because my criminal testimony is clear.
Yesterday in the courtroom, only after I declared that I was uncondemned and, as mayor of Tirana, elected by vote three times in a row by my citizens, did I fill out the form of derimination, prosecutor Ols Dado was forced to verify this by a phone call, (as it seems, in his mind a convicted person now turns out), and tried to pass this scandal, saying it's just a âpasus, who made my file writer.
So, from the front page of the charge brought against me, we have by mistake a pencil so heavy, and so funny, by the file attorney.
But how can a pencil be made in an investigative file? How can it be played with human life by passing it on with the words “was penus”?
It's just a pencil. It is a great shadow of doubt over all that has been cooked against me and my wife.
Now it's clear the seriousness with which the investigation is conducted against my family and person: the least, in my file, there are gross errors, like this front page, which will publish one by one to the public and citizens of Tirana; but, I also reserve my doubts about prosecutor Ols Dado's hasty desire to declare me guilty without starting the trial process.
