Muhamed Krvenshi was born in Mitrovica in 1935. He attended primary school in Pec and high school in his home country. He left Kosovo to study philosophy at the University of Belgrade and then conducted postgraduate studies in Zagreb. He had returned to Kosovo in Pristina, where he later defended the doctorate.
He has taught at the University of Pristina Faculty of Philology.
Muhamed Krvenshi, a confirmed poet, was presented in many Albanian panoramas and anthologys published in Kosovo (in French, in Italian, in German, in English, in Turkish, in Serbian), in Albania, in the republics of the former Yugoslavia and Vojvodina, and in various parts of the world. This author's poems are published in “Albanian lyrology” (all Albanian) in Italian, which our writer Ernest Koliqi compiled and published in Milan in 1963. Muhamed's poetry is published in Spanish in the Literary Journal “Comoran y dolphin” Buenos Aires, 1971. Muhammad Kreveshi is represented in Europe's “Anthology...” in German, which he compiled, translated and published by Dr. Egon H. Rocket, Bon, 1976.
Kreveshi's verses were selected and translated into German Rudolf Grulich, into athology “Regen in enerer Legende”, Heiligenofh, 1977. Muhamed Kreveshi's poems are published in Arabic, in Albanian anthology “Palestino” that Muhammad Muffaku compiled and published in Syria in 1980. Muhamed Krvenshi's poems were published in the athology “a handful of Kaltri” in Turkish, which he compiled, translated Hasan Merdjan and published in Istanbul in 1985.
