Thai drug, 25-year-old Tirana arrested

He was caught infugrance by police services, with a package of 2kg of suspected narcotic cannabis with high-rate THC, allegedly trafficked by Thailand.

Another operation is finalised against the criminal activity of narcotics trafficking through the postal service.

The operation, codenamed “Destination 4”, is put in handcuffs by a 25-year-old who trafficked from Thailand to Albania, high-rate THC narcotics.

There are 2kg of suspected narcotic cannabis, worth 400,000 euros, amounts of money, mobile phones, valuables and other valuable evidence of the investigation.

The Department for the Investigation of Narcotics, in co-operation with the DVP Operational Task Force Tirana, the Youth Police Commissioner and Philialin the Albanian Post Transitional Centre, as a result of investigations conducted with pro-active methods, in directing the Prosecutor's Court of the First Court of General Jurys Tirana, has finalised another operation against criminal activity of narcotics trafficking through the postal service.

As a result of the police operation, codenamed “Destination 4”, citizen R was arrested. S., 25, residents in Tirana, who allegedly trafficked cannabis narcotics with high percentages of THC, from Thailand to Albania through postal service.

This citizen was caught infaghrance by police services, with a package of 2kg of suspected narcotic cannabis with high-rate THC, allegedly trafficked by Thailand.

Investigations are under way for full documentation of this criminal activity, identification and capture of other suspected citizens involved.

The procedure materials were passed on to the Prosecutor for further action.
