A transport plane crashed in Philadelphia on Friday, about 30 seconds after it was established, damaging several houses at a busy intersection of the city. Six people were aboard the plane, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The plane crash shocked residents and occurred two days after a military helicopter crashed on a civilian plane in Washington.

The explosion occurred less than 15 miles [4.8 km] from Philadelphia's northeast airport, which serves mainly for business aircraft and charter flights.

The flight “Letters 55” disappeared from radar shortly after boarding from the airport at 18:06 and reaching a height of 487m. The plane was traveling to the city of Springfield in Mizuri and was registered owned by the company “Mets jets”, according to the website <x4light Agere”, which deals with tracking flights.

The crash comes two days after the deadliest aviation disaster in the country in almost 25 years. A company plane “American Airlines” with 60 passengers and four crew members crashed into the air Wednesday evening in Washington with an American Army helicopter with three soldiers aboard. There were no survivors of this accident.
