Abdixhiku said they discussed the February 9th elections and reiterated that they expect the CEC to close the counting and certificate process of election results as soon as possible.
“Mayor Abdixhiku expressed gratitude to the British ambassador for the continued support the United Kingdom has given and continues to give Kosovo, in its most important processes”, it is said among other things in the announcement.

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has hosted the United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo Jonathan Hargreaves at the meeting.
Mayor Abdixhiku and British Ambassador Hargreaves discussed recent developments in the country and the Democratic League's positions regarding these developments, with particular emphasis on the election process on February 9th.
Chairman Abdixhiku before Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves reaffirmed that he expects the Central Election Commission (KQZ) to close the counting and Certificate process on the basis of democratic principles as soon as possible.
At the end of this meeting, President Obadiah expressed gratitude to the British ambassador for the continued support the United Kingdom has given and continues to give Kosovo in its most important processes.
