Ferat Shala: Next government is made by opposition, top of Bedri Hamza

Ferat Shala, from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), has commented on the election results and expressed party expectations for a higher outcome. He has stressed that one of the reasons for this has been candidate Bedri Hamza, whom he has named as a prepared and competent person for the prime minister's office. [...]
However, he acknowledged that the PDK has ended up as the second party and that citizens have voted for change, supporting opposition parties.
We have expected higher results because we have had reason to wait. Among the reasons is Bedri Hamza, who is very prepared and competent for the work. Then we had the candidate list which is one of the best possible things Kosovo has ever had. However, the result is what it is and we are the second party. We strongly believe that citizens have voted for change, so for opposition parties”, Shala said.
Shala stressed that the majority of citizens are for a new government, which, according to him, will be led by Bedri Hamza and opposition parties.
So most citizens have claimed to be for change and another government. That government, of course, is planned because the Constitution and legislation provides it will be the government of opposition parties, led by opposition leader Bedri Hamza”.
Likewise, Shala stressed that the PDK is willing to coalition with opposition parties unless a government is created within legal terms.
He believes opposition parties have the majority and support of citizens, adding that Bedri Hamza's programme will begin to apply immediately after taking the prime minister's post.
Our “candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, has made his and PDK position clear. This is the position that has found support and taken the citizens' vote, we as a party support the Constitution of Kosovo, which means we have given room to legal and constitutional opportunities, most who have won to make the government, if you don't do it within legal terms, we are convinced that we have the possibilities and alliances with opposition parties to make the future government”, says Shala.
We are convinced because even numbers show us that opposition parties have the majority and citizens' trust in this country. I don't believe there's any other logic, except to agree with the majority electoral voters for opposition parties. Bedri Hamza's programme will begin implementing his first day of work, as it has said in the electoral campaign”, he added to Blic newspaper.
