Doubts of misusing the vote in Croatia, Pula: We'll act on it. We have jurisdiction.

So declared National Co-ordinator Laura Pula.

She announced that, so far, six persons have been detained -- five in Mitrovica and a Podujevo.

Pula also pointed to a criminal offence against voting rights based on the Kosovo Criminal Code.

“We in the Kosovo Criminal Code have 11 criminal acts against the right to vote that depending on how to commit what might then be charged even later and punish those who conflict with the law. If we refer to the Mitrovica case, the banned persons refer to the criminal activity “Containing the free definition of voters”, as far as Podujevo “The signing of the voting secrecy””, Pula told Klan Kosovo.

She also spoke about allegations of misuse of votes as in Croatia's case.

The co-ordinator stressed that they are collecting information.

We will first collect all the information, both inside and outside, since we are now in another phase, of vote collection from outside Kosovo, if there are doubts that there are misuses of the vote, where we have jurisdictions and we will act, but remember that we have jurisdiction only within embassies and consulates”, she said.

On the other hand, she stressed that anyone violating the law would be subject to investigation.
