The European Union has been informed about new operations against structures supported by Serbia, while still awaiting further details in order to prove all facts.
Brussels officials underline that the status of these structures and services supported by Serbia is pre-priced to be resolved through the EU-launched dialogue.
No health and educational institutions supported by Serbia, nor other structures supported by Serbia offering basic social services should be closed”, orders from the European Commission in a written reply sent to the media.
The closure of existing structures that provide basic social services to Kosovo Serbs and other communities, without any mutually agreed alternative agreements, negatively affects the daily life and living conditions of these communities and directly undermines efforts to normalise”, the EU response reported.
According to European Union officials, all these issues must be addressed between the parties.
It is also confirmed that the European emissary for dialogue Peter Sorensen is willing to help maintain these discussions.
