CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has said on Tuesday that 15,352 citizens have voted in diplomatic representations, while by mail 68.712.
However, he has warned that this percentage could change, following the voting rating process that has been accepted by mail.
Over 2 million Kosovo citizens have had the right to vote in this year's parliamentary elections. Among them were 104,924 voters from the diaspora.
This has been the first election process when members of the diaspora are eligible to vote in 19 diplomatic representations worldwide.
Elez has said that counting votes from the diaspora will start taking place after a few days at the Counting and Results Centre.
According to preliminary results, after counting over 90 per cent of the vote, the ruling party Vetevendosje has won over 40 per vote, forwarded by the Democratic Party of Kosovo with about 22 per cent of the vote, the Democratic League of Kosovo with about 17 per cent of the vote, and the coalition between the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Social Democrat Initiative, about 7 per cent of the vote.
A party needs 61 deputies' votes in the Parliament to form the new Government.
Currently, neither party has them. Parties currently in opposition have ruled out the possibility of any coalition with Vetevendosje Movement to form the government.
Analysts estimate that in the days, weeks or even months to come, Kosovo is expecting political revelation.
