Begaj heads to KFOR, expected by Bardon

“Visita was the opportunity to introduce KFOR's activities under its UN mandate and its continued security efforts in support of the EU facilitated dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade”, KFOR said in announcing his visit.
Bardonini also congratulated President Begaj on Albania's past contributions to KFOR and regional stability.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission to Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responseors”.
