Energy expert Janina Ymeri has raised serious concerns about the annual electricity planning for 2025, stressing that the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) has approved the Annual Bilan by 13 months late.
According to Ymer, the document representing the strategic plan for production, import, consumption and electricity management has been approved on November 30th 2025, though the year is virtually complete. She emphasises that the plan has not yet been published in its complete form and with all necessary changes, follows Periscope.
“After 13 months of waiting, Z RRE approves the annual balance of 2025, which is actually the power plan. And that happens at the end of the year, without becoming public with a time of”, writes Ymer.
She asks what basis institutions are discussing possible energy tariff increases, if the annual plan has not been approved over time:
So now that the year goes unplanned, on what approved basis is the current thought to rise? On what plan did import, spending, production and electricity consumption become during the year?
Ymer also voiced doubts about issues that, according to her, merit the investigation, citing businessman Vuk Hamovic's EFT company. She says this company has been convicted in Romania, while in Kosovo it has not been suspended for a day.
It refers to ZERE confirmations of the Energy Community in Vienna that investigations are under way, while the energy plan for 2025 was still not approved until late.
Despite propaganda, I am beyond doubt that there is basis for investigation in our host capacity,”, Ymer concludes in her response.
