The trial for the murder of Liridona Ademij towards the end of the epilogue is expected in December

On the second anniversary of the assassination, the family of Liridona Ademij is awaiting justice. Two years have passed since Liridona Ademiaj was killed at the age of 30 on a street in the village of Brnica in Pristina.

Her murder is being tried by husband Naim Murseli, who is accused of planning her murder with a view to revenge and financial gain, namely, by a life insurance in Sweden worth about 260 thousand euros.

According to the indictment, Mursel is suspected of planning the murder by Dealing Cocall, accused of announcing Mursel with Granit Plava's hand, promising both 30 thousand euros.

And this second anniversary of Adamaj's murder finds her family still waiting for justice.

These 2 years have not been easy for us as a family. We cannot agree with the fact that you are no longer among us. We miss you so much. Nothing is the same anymore. The years are going fast, and we are still facing criminals who unjustly took you away from us. We'll fight to the last breath seeking justice for you, sister. Criminals must receive due punishment”, declared Leonard Ademij édona Ademiaj's brother.

The case in the court is constantly monitored by the Kosovo Institute for Justice, from which they say the case could receive epilogue in December.

We have several sessions during December and normally, according to plan, we may also have an epilogue of the case, but always given, always from the defense of the accused whether they will be declared or protected in silence. We may even have the most accurate date of judgment to come. Without this phase over, we cannot exactly know the epilogue and the time when it ends”, Flamur Kabashi researchers at IKD said.
