It was the third such offense in nine days, reports Skynews.
Moldova's Interior Ministry said it had identified two fears as Russians and that they had flown over Moldovan territory, forcing the country's airspace to close.
Afterwards, fears flew into Ukrainian territory, the ministry added. The former Soviet state is located between Ukraine and Romania, a member of the EU.
In an X post, President Maya Sandu said that “on their way to kill civilians, Russian fears again violated Moldova's airspace, forcing its temporary closure. We condemn these attacks and stand near Ukraine”.
Moldova had complained of a similar violation on November 20th and again earlier this week.
